Are you looking for quality, genuinely helpful VPN reviews? As you probably know by now, that’s not something that’s easy to find. Either you’re reading a crappy “Best VPN review” website whose sole purpose is to make a commission on a sale or you’re watching a poorly produced video.
I’m here to change that with these excellent VPN review videos.
You’ll find that the All Things Secured videos are not only high-quality, they’re also about as unbiased as I can make them. Yes, the links may be affiliate links – I’m not going to try to deceive you there – but I’m judging the VPNs against a set of criteria that remains the same across each service.
You can jump on to the All Things Secured YouTube channel or check out one of the VPN review videos here.

How to Spot Fake VPN Reviews
The unfortunate reality is that the VPN industry is very shady and more than half of all VPN reviews you’ll find on the internet are fake.
You read that right: half.
So how can you spoke fake VPN reviews?
Based on my experience, there are a few tell-tale signs of a fake review:
- No Listed Author: If the review page doesn’t have an author and the website itself doesn’t have an about page that lists the people who write the content, that’s a huge red flag.
- Gushing Praise: There is no VPN I’ve reviewed in my entire life that deserves gushing praise. If a review is effusive in its praise, it’s likely been paid to do so.
- Marketing Jargon: If the review spends all their time talking about a VPN’s zero-log policy, the server speeds, or where the company is based (BVI! Switzerland!), they either don’t know what they’re talking about or, again, they’re just being paid to write the review.
There are others I could list here but I’ll stop for now. The most important thing you need before using a VPN is this:
Trust.
Do you trust this company with all of your internet data?
If you can’t say yes with confidence, you shouldn’t be using that VPN.
